I would be concerned if, as a player who DOES know me, you didn't know Sjoerdtim, a.k.a Tim Hereijgers, son of Ronald Hereijgers, who will be called "Tibbles" or "Tim" below.
That kid did a good enough job creating, with some friends of his, or alone, I don't know, an apparently successful Minecraft server.
I was kinda happy to be here, wandering around, playing a bit, and was kinda impressed by some maps. Tirith the most. That, and the urge to use Nazgul, made me give money to that kid. Yeah, real life money, you know, Euros. 75 of them, at first. Then, a few weeks later, I added 51€ to this, giving me the "top donator" status, for like 3 hours before that stupid UniverseKing added a few euros too.
But that's not what I'm wanting to talk about.
I'm pretty sure a lot of you know Conwy, also a Minecraft server, accessible via http://thedarkage.enjin.com. You see, Conwy copied EmpireWar, as said by Tim. EmpireWar copied Conwy, as said by Conwy. Hard to know who's right and who's wrong, right ? Well, except if you're an incredibly stupid kissass. Let's not point fingers here, just saying I know a lot of them being connected on here a lot.
Well, it just so happends that the aforementioned Tim is thinking that this server, EmpireWar.org, is the only one in the whooole universe to have the actual concept, a.k.a Lord of the Rings based Siege server. Well, that's fine for me, he can think whatever he wants, really. But he is wrong doing that. He has the right to be wrong, he's a human being after all. Heck, even a not-fully-grown-up human being.
Now, I, Weby, (or "The Mighty Weby", as I sarcastically staded once and as someone stupidly remembers as true), am actually, with the help of a few other great players and builders, creating a Siege server. That's right, an opponent to EmpireWar.org. Why did I do that ? Well, because I want, and because I can. I'm pretty sure you do know who's helping me, so I won't state any nicknames here.
My role on this brand new server is to make sure everything runs smoothly. I'm not a developer, and not really a good builder. My job mostly consists of opening my wallet. That's what defines me as the "owner" of the server, because I actually own it. Pretty basic stuff indeed.
As I wandered around on here, I met new people, and some of them helped me build. A lot. Like, we have a whole Helms Deep map made entirely by ourselves from ground up, and that respects the movie. We also have like 60% of a Moria map, made entirely by ourselves from ground up, and that respects the movie. Yeah, indeed, those are Lord of the Rings maps. But wait, there's more ! We actually have 10-15% of a Hogwarts map that's made entirely by ourselves, from ground up, and yeah, it does respect the movie too. Starting to get the difference between EW and here ? No ?
Okay, fair enough.
You know about our maps, let's talk about our coder. Our coder/developer is someone who I met here too. I'm pretty sure he's not unfamiliar to you either. He has been working a lot lately on a full plugin. Yeah, a PLUGIN, not a SKRIPT. Written in JAVA, not in SKRIPT. That plugin is supposed to bring us basic commands and functionalities to have a working Siege server. Like conwy, like empirewar, like a lot of others whose names won't be shown here, since it wouldn't help proving my point.
Now, you see what I wanted to point out ? No ? Let's just say that we have our own maps, our own plugins, and our own ideas. Even if some of them are inspired by others' people work, they're ours. A hundred percent.
Let's talk about Osgiliath. All of you are willing to have that map up and running as soon as possible. It's really understandable. This map is being built by a lot of people, under Only_God's commands, as stated by Tim himself. Some of those builders are currently helping me on my own server, either as coder, or as builder. Some of them are banned from here, others aren't, that just doesn't matter.
One of those builders, who is now banned, downloaded Osgiliath, and gave it to me, in order to impunderstandort it on the server. Big deal ? Well, let's say it's not, unless your name is Tim. Yep, an old version of the Osgiliath being built on EW servers is actually sitting on my server. As is the actual version of Tirith. As are some other maps. Why are they
here ? Well, that's just because the work done on this map belongs to the player who actually did the job on that map. With that in mind, you now see the logic ? No ? Well, a few builders on EW decided it was good to have a copy of their work in a safe place, where they could do whatever they wanted with on another place than EW. Altering those builds, copying them and including them on other maps, whatever, it's their job after all. I understand that really good, and allowed them to do it there.

This is considered griefing : unwanted alterations to a map that is not his, on a server that isn't his. That map wasn't made by EpicQuestz. It was made by a lot of players, including, they're right, Tim and Only_god. The "Not made by Anrza, Weby, etc, they're all fakers" is not only wrong, it's diffamation. Anrza helped building Osgiliath and had the right to have his work backed up somewhere. I wasn't building for Osgiliath though. Calling us fakers is, by extend, wrong.
By downloading Osgiliath, we copied work from other people. At first, we did intend to use the Osgiliath being built on EW on our server. Because it was being built partly by our members, and because it was half way done.
We even got permission for this by Only_God. Don't trust me ? Well, here it is :
Yeah, that's right. Only_God basically allowed us to use Osgiliath before everyone else, and, by that extent, before EmpireWar itself.
Now, we changed our mind in the meantime. Because using a map that isn't 100% ours is not what we want. The current state of Osgiliath is gonna stay on our server, hidden and unreachable, and isn't gonna be on the siege server.
The only map actually ready to be used as a siege server is Helms Deep, and it's the only map that would have be broadcasted and available to players when the plugin was ready.
What I really wanted to show you was how actually sjoerdtim is. Let's summarize :
- He lies openly to people on here, saying we "copy" empirewar, when we are just being inspired by it
- He lies openly to people on here, saying Conwy copied them
- He lies openjy to people on Conwy, saying, every time he sees people active on my server, that they are hackers
- He doesn't hesitate to give himself privileges that weren't given to him
- ...using those privileges to alter other people's creations on a concurrent server that isn't even up
This is a small list of things that pop up in my mind right now.
I have a few words for all of you now. I'm pretty sure the reaction of 99% of the playerbase here will be "omg it's weby ban him ban his alt delete his thread it sucks anyway and isn't true". I don't mind. The truth has been spoken.
Tim, we are making a siege server, that will be a LOT better than EW, first of all because you won't be there. It's not a ripoff, it's not a copy, just fucking suck it and be man enough to accept concurrence.
Oh, and because a majority of you are dickheads who won't hesitate to suck Tim's ass, don't even try to connect on mine. Your instaban will be terribly hurtful.
